Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1702-1725.

Walnut tall-case clock. The hood has a raised molded top with turned three-quarter columns at the front corners, turned quarter columns at the rear corners and a glazed door with square opening. Waist with cove molding at the top and a rectangular case door with a molded edge and a circular glazed peephole. Box base with ogee molding above the baseboard. Composite brass dial with applied chapter ring with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, and applied cast ornament in the spandrels. The chapter ring is signed "Peter Stretch." Thirty hour movement.
